If I had to guess.... Looks like you have him picking up some washers on the floor with a magnet hanging from his neck? Board seems like maybe it has velcro or the spiky side of a floor mat on it, so he can't sit back and rest. Maybe connected to a humbler so he really can't sit back?

Well he's not holding onto
Well he's not holding onto the wood so it's staying there by some other means. Looking at the piece of string just visible between his legs and the metal (bolt?) end in the centre of the wood I think it is held there suspended by cord/chain from the centre of his wrist restraints and perhaps tied or fixed to his balls or even round his thighs. His balls may also be tied under him to his tits to prevent any other position being possible. There is a covering to the ass side of that board so given your devious plans it's not there for show but to be another predicament. Or maybe just to prevent splinters:)

Very perceptive! You guys are getting closer. You're right about the covering (specifically, it's a padded mat, the same kind as I used on the bondage board...which was repurposed from previously being used as the floor for the big steel cage). And it is there mainly to prevent splinters, as an extra precaution even though I sanded the board. You're also right about his balls being tied. Beyond that, I'll give you guys a pretty big hint here: His balls are tied, as well as his cuffed hands secured, to prevent him from escaping from "something else". Bigger hint: Focus on that metal bolt you see in the center of the board. What could be on the other side, that I wouldn't want him to be able to escape from? *evil grin!*

But you're still missing a key component. I can tell you one thing for sure...with everything I had in place in this one, if he moved the wrong way while crawling around the room, his mission could quickly become a real pain in the ass! ;-) (Hint hint!)

How many things? ALL of them! ;-) Probably about 20 or 30 if I remember correctly. It was pretty entertaining in the end when he was missing a few and wasn't quite sure where I stashed them, and ended up crawling around the room from one side to the other back and forth while impaled, trying to find the last one or two items required for his release. Maybe I should have added a time limit and some form of electro punishment after the time was up, to be increased every minute or two until he completed his task? Thoughts?
I always think time limits
I always think time limits are good, especially when punishments like electro are in the offing. You start to see the panic begin when the sub feels time is running out, the Dom giving time checks every now and then but no clock visible. It adds an edge to the scene, the first shock to the balls coming as a surprise and the sweat begins. What was a relatively "simple" although not painless quest becomes a race to finish with the sub knowing the shocks could come at any point.

Orrr, maybe to fuck with the sub's mind a but more, how about just making a beep or buzzer sound every so often as time goes by? But not something simple and uniform like every 5 minutes. Maybe something more like every 2 minutes and 34 seconds, the sub hears a beep. So he's kind of informed how much time has gone by, but good luck concentrating on that and remembering how many beeps he's heard, and multiplying it by some crazy amount of time like that. I imagine it would probably just motivate him to move faster regardless, because it's almost hopeless trying to figure out how much time has passed with any level of confidence that he's correct in his math. *evil grin!* What do you think of that idea? Anything to add or tweak?
