It's Figure it out Friday! ;-)
(Yeah, I know I said I'd probably never use that phrase again...but it just seemed to fit with today being Friday, and this post...where you may wonder what this boy is doing.)
Update: I added one more photo that I almost added initially, but thought it might make this one TOO easy to guess. The last photo is the new one...revealing something in front of my sub that you couldn't see before.
So what exactly is this boy doing? He doesn't really look like he's in the best situation to be crawling around the playroom, does he? But there must be a reason he's doing so, right?
Check out the photo clues below (and this time they're the entire photos, not a cropped snippet of them), and see if you can figure out what's going on here. Again, there are no bad answers...it's always cool to see what other guys think is going on, and maybe even get a few ideas for the future. So it's a win-win, whether you're right or wrong. <grin>
Crawling boy
He's hunting for something - perhaps keys to get him unlocked?
Presume he's hunting for the
Presume he's hunting for the key too. Didn't notice the thumb cuffs at first so have no idea now how he'd use it if he finds it. Brilliant!

You're both right about him
You're both right about him hunting for something...but it's not the key. He was told that I needed his help to clean up the playroom...to find a certain quantity of a very specific item that I "accidentally" dropped many of around the playroom. A few hints... Hint #1: You can see the item he's looking for in pic 1 and pic 5. Hint #2: He obviously can't use his hands, so I had to provide him with another way to collect the items. Hint #3: There are certain things I used to create obstacles to interfere with the method I gave him to collect the items, such as the metal chain you see laying on the floor. With those hints, any other ideas on what I have him collecting, the method I gave him to collect them, and how the obstacles could interfere with that?
I'm at a bit of a loss here.
I'm at a bit of a loss here. I think it's to do with the items behind the door which he closes with his mouth to get behind and find them?
The chain must restrict the length of his travel but I can't see how this interferes with his collecting as it looks quite long. Nope. I failed on tis one.

I just added one more pic
So I had debated on whether or not to add one additional pic initially, but I just edited this post and added it in. This will show you something that you can't see from the back view of my sub, which should help you figure things out a bit more. It doesn't exactly spell it out (what fun would that be?), and still requires a bit of creative, devious thinking, but it should definitely help if you look at something (the same type of object) that is visible in pic 1, pic 5, and now also in pic 6 if you look closely...and now you can see the method of collecting the items too. Also, once you figure that part out...if you think about it a bit, it should help you figure out why the chains were scatter around the floor and the reason I placed the object where I did in pic 6.
Hunting boy
He's hunting for metal washes with a magnet hung from his neck. I don't get all the devious details, but I think you once wrote about something similar, right?

Ah. I'm probably wrong but is
Ah. I'm probably wrong but is it a magnet hanging from his collar and he has to collect those metal washers? The chains would hinder that as he'd have to shake them off if they got caught up. And in pic 6 he has trouble because it's so close to the wall. Am I getting warmer?

Actually, you're not wrong,
Actually, you're not wrong, except for that last part...it's not just that it's so close to the wall. Look closely at the washer that he's after there, and what it's on...and think of all the threading there. Think that would make it tougher to pick up? ;-)
